She gave the freedom in the Philippines and she had always touched our country's heart. She was a faithful Christian, a strong woman. She truly devoted herself to her countrymen and showed how great our country is. She was a gift from God, the light that led the Philippines to the present. She had an unwavering faith in God that served as her strength and she believed in the power of her prayers. Tita Cory was truly a magnificent president.
That time, when it was time to bury her body. It was as if that we were saying good bye to our most beloved queen. It was hard, especially to her family, knowing that she would never come back.
There could have never been another woman who could lead the Philippines as great as her.Tita Cory will always remain in the heart of Filipinos. She will never be forgotten.
And that's my journal for today.
Paalam at salamat tita Cory!
Di ka namin malilimutan.
(Thank you and good bye tita Cory!)
(We will never forget you.)

The only things I hate about her administration was that its so corrupt. But she's not to be blamed for it, it was a transition stage, and she was an inexperienced politician (or probably she never was).
It's during her time in office that the word "magkaisa" was really tested to the limit. But how can the country have unity when she's surrounded by all these "buwayas" like these politicians that have these personal agendas, and responsible for all these Coup-De-Etats happening during her time?
The real questions which surrounds after her death was: Are we really free? Are we really united?
I think we still have a long way to go.
